The Indy Lights series visited the Mid Ohio Sports Car Course this weekend for a doubleheader, which saw a new face on the top step of the podium. After starting on pole, Jack Harvey earned his first career Indy Lights on Saturday in a caution-free Race 1. Due to lack of cautions, Harvey was able to dominate all race, putting some serious distance between himself and second place finisher Gabby Chaves. By the time the checkers waved and victory was Harvey’s, the gap was seventeen seconds between he and Chaves. Luiz Razia, Zach Veach, and Matthew Brabham rounded out the top 5.

Harvey’s momentum continued on Sunday with Race 2, which saw him start in the front for a second time. There was only one caution throughout the race, which occurred in the early laps of the race when Brabham and Razia made contact with each other and virtually ended their days early. After the race restarted, Harvey was able to find his rhythm from the previous day and expand his lead. He went on to win again, this time by twelve seconds over second place finisher Zach Veach. Gabby Chaves, Axcil Jefferies, and Juan Piedrahita rounded out the top 5.
